About This Tour
This 7-day tour combines Uganda's two greatest wildlife experiences: gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and a full safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You begin in Bwindi for your gorilla trek, then travel north through the Ishasha sector — searching for the famous tree-climbing lions — before settling into the main Queen Elizabeth circuit for game drives and a Kazinga Channel boat cruise. The Kazinga Channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward and is one of Africa's finest boat safaris, with hippos, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species visible from the water. This is the itinerary we recommend most often to first-time visitors to Uganda.
