For those who want more than one hour with the gorillas, the Double Gorilla Trek offers two separate treks on consecutive days, each visiting a different habituated gorilla family. No two treks are the same — different families have different personalities, different ranges, and different dynamics. Visiting two families gives you a far richer understanding of mountain gorilla behaviour, social structure, and individual character. This package is based in the Rushaga or Buhoma sector of Bwindi, where multiple habituated families allow consecutive-day trekking.
