About This Tour
This four-day itinerary is designed for travellers flying into Kigali who want to combine gorilla trekking in Uganda with a broader cultural and adventure experience. You cross from Rwanda into Uganda at the Cyanika border, drive to Bwindi for your gorilla trek, then spend a day on a Ugandan coffee farm learning about the journey from bean to cup — Uganda produces some of Africa's finest arabica coffee. The final day features a hike on Mount Sabyinyo, the ancient eroded volcano whose summit ridge marks the meeting point of Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Standing on that ridge, you are in three countries simultaneously. The return to Kigali completes a genuinely memorable cross-border adventure.
