About This Tour
This three-day package combines two of Uganda's most extraordinary primate experiences: gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and golden monkey tracking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. The golden monkey is one of Africa's most visually striking primates — a vivid orange-gold patch across its back and cheeks contrasting with black limbs — and Mgahinga is one of only two places in the world where it can be tracked. The combination of gorillas in Bwindi's dense forest and golden monkeys on the bamboo slopes of the Virunga Volcanoes makes this one of the most rewarding primate itineraries in Africa. Both parks are in south-western Uganda, making the logistics straightforward.
