About This Tour
This three-day itinerary pairs the gorilla trek with a deeper exploration of the Kigezi Highlands — one of Uganda's most beautiful and least-visited regions. The highlands are characterised by steep terraced hillsides, crater lakes, and a cool climate that feels entirely different from the rest of Uganda. After your gorilla trek in Bwindi, the itinerary includes a scenic drive through the highlands with stops at Lake Bunyonyi viewpoints, the Kisoro crater lakes, and local villages. This package is ideal for travellers who want to experience both the wildlife and the landscape of south-western Uganda in a single short trip.
