About This Tour
This two-day safari is designed for travellers already in the Kisoro area — perhaps after a gorilla trek in Bwindi or Mgahinga — who want to add a Queen Elizabeth safari without returning to Kampala first. You drive north from Kisoro through the Ishasha sector, keeping an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions, before reaching the main Queen Elizabeth circuit for an afternoon game drive. The following morning features a Kazinga Channel boat cruise — one of Africa's finest wildlife boat experiences — before the return journey. Despite its brevity, this safari delivers elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, Uganda kob, and a remarkable diversity of birds.
